Miami, FL (June 2, 2026) – The worlds of football and music will come together on the biggest stage in the world as FIFA announces the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Countdown Concert, a one-of-a-kind live music experience taking place simultaneously in Mexico City, Toronto, and Los Angeles on June 10.
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ Countdown Concert will transform the cities hosting each host nation’s opening match into global stages, bringing together football, music, and fan culture in a shared celebration. Developed in collaboration with the Grammys, the concert will feature internationally renowned artists from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album, alongside other global performers, emerging artists, and special guests.
In Mexico City, Los Ángeles Azules with Belinda, along with Elena Rose, are the first artists announced to headline a historic opening night in one of the world’s great football capitals. Fans attending the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Countdown Concert in Mexico City will experience the event at the same venue as México Vibra (Auditorio Nacional), taking place prior to the start of that celebration and blending music, passion, and the city’s unmistakable energy.
Toronto will welcome fans with a major celebration featuring performances by Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi alongside Sanjoy and Vegedream, as well as a collaboration between AHI and Wyclef Jean, with additional artists and special guests to be announced at a later date. In Los Angeles, Diplo’s Major Lazer project is the first act announced for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music and celebration in one of the world’s entertainment capitals.
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ Countdown Concert will be broadcast live from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM CDT in Mexico City, 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM EDT in Toronto, and 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM PDT in Los Angeles. Fans can access official event information, ticket updates, and city-specific details through FIFA.com/Sound, which will connect them directly to local organizer platforms in each host city.
Fans around the world will be able to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Countdown Concert through FIFA’s global broadcast and digital channels, including a worldwide livestream on the FIFA World Cup™ TikTok account, with TikTok serving as the exclusive live social streaming partner. The following day, the full concert and exclusive behind-the-scenes content will be available on the partner video-on-demand platform, VuMe.
These simultaneous celebrations will build excitement ahead of the tournament’s opening match at Mexico City Stadium on June 11 and keep the momentum going as Canada and the United States host their opening matches on June 12.

The Cumbia Sin Fronteras 2026 Tour will continue with additional dates across Mexico and the United States. Los Ángeles Azules will also return to Mexico City to take part in the excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026™. On June 10, they will join Alejandro Fernández, Lucero, Benny, and Timbiriche, among others, for México Vibra, a special celebration leading up to the tournament.
