“PAULA” RETURNS WITH LUCA BOCCI’S SIGNATURE SOUND
Miami, FL (October 16, 2026) – Zoé continues its musical journey with ‘Memo Rex Commander y el Corazón Atómico de la Vía Láctea (Revisitado),’ this time enlisting Luca Bocci to breathe new life into “Paula,” one of the band’s most beloved songs. The release follows the success of “Mrs. Nitro” featuring Boogarins, “Vía Láctea” performed by Sessa, “Paz” with Los Mirlos & La Lá, and “Vinyl” reimagined by Usted Señálemelo.
Originally released in 2006, “Paula” stands out for its melodic sensitivity and immersive atmosphere, making it one of the most iconic and cherished songs among Zoé fans. Its lasting popularity is reflected in its continued presence in the band’s live performances.
Defined by its melancholy, romanticism, and psychedelic undertones, the track showcases one of the band’s most distinctive qualities: the ability to transform deeply personal emotions into songs that transcend their original context.
For this new interpretation, Luca Bocci, a singer-songwriter and producer from Mendoza, Argentina, brings “Paula” into his own musical world, offering a contemporary perspective while staying true to the song’s original essence.
Luca Bocci has emerged as one of the standout artists in Argentina’s independent music scene. Blending elements of indie rock, lo-fi, and rhythm and blues, his sound brings a fresh dimension to a song whose strength lies in its intimacy and melodic depth.
“Paula,” the fifth release from ‘Memo Rex Commander y el Corazón Atómico de la Vía Láctea (Revisitado),’arrives on the heels of the recent success of the screening of ‘Zoé: Memo Rex + Rexsexex y Más,’ further highlighting the band’s enduring relevance and its ability to connect with new generations of listeners.
