Miami, FL (September 7, 2026) –Alejandro Fernández made a triumphant return to the stage as the headliner of Festival Arre, which has established itself as one of the leading events for Grupero and Regional Mexican music on the continent. Performing before thousands of fans, the Mexican artist proudly donned his iconic charro suit once again and showed why he is considered one of Mexican music’s foremost global ambassadors.
El Potrillo was welcomed by thousands of cheers and applause, responding to the crowd’s affection with a big smile. Visibly excited, he kicked off his set with “No Me Sé Rajar,” immediately igniting the audience, who sang along at the top of their lungs from that moment on.
Amid a set filled with his biggest hits, fans gathered at the Hacienda Pepsi Black stage were treated to a special surprise when Eden Muñoz joined Alejandro onstage to perform “Decepciones” and “No,” creating what was undoubtedly one of the festival’s most memorable moments.
Alejandro Fernández is currently on his De Rey a Rey Tour, an emotional tribute to his father, Vicente Fernández. This month, he will also once again celebrate Mexican Independence festivities at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, continuing a tradition that began 23 years ago, when he became the first artist to headline this celebration in Las Vegas. Today, Alejandro also holds the distinction of being the highest-selling solo artist in Las Vegas history, further cementing his place as one of the most important figures in Mexican music.
Since its launch in 2024, De Rey a Rey has toured Latin America, the United States, Spain and, of course, Mexico, with more than 60 sold-out shows. Among its standout dates was the historic October 4, 2025 concert at Estadio GNP Seguros, where Alejandro performed before more than 60,000 fans.
The tour also inspired the live album ‘De Rey a Rey – En Vivo Desde La Monumental Plaza de Toros México,’ a production that captures the essence and emotion of this heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest figures in Mexican music.
This milestone in Alejandro Fernández’s career comes alongside a series of major recent achievements and accolades. On Thursday, September 3, El Potrillo emerged as one of the night’s top winners at Premios Juventud, taking home three awards: My Favorite Track for “Me Está Doliendo” with Carín León, “Best Mexican Music Banda Song” for “El Rey” with Vicente Fernández, and Best Pop/Ballad Song for “Sin Despedida” with Carlos Rivera.
Adding to these achievements is one of the most memorable moments of his recent career: just over two months ago, Alejandro performed La Serenata Más Grande del Mundo (The World’s Largest Serenade) at the Glorieta de La Minerva in Guadalajara, drawing more than 270,000 people.
