MATISSE KICK OFF THEIR ‘EL AYER’ TOUR WITH A SOLD-OUT SHOW AT THE AUDITORIO NACIONAL
Miami, FL (June 7, 2026) — This past Saturday, Matisse returned to the stage of Mexico City’s iconic Auditorio Nacional to perform for 10,000 fans, delivering a concert filled with passion, love, and heartbreak as part of the second sold-out date of its El Ayer Tour at the venue.
Opening the night with “Imposible Amor,” Melissa Robles, Román Torres, and Pablo Preciado set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Surrounded by screens spanning the entire stage, the trio created a unique visual atmosphere that brought the concept of El Ayer to life.
Songs such as “Primer Avión,” “Todo a Nada,” and “Pedazos” elevated the energy inside the venue, as fans enthusiastically sang along to the hits that have established Matisse as one of the most prominent acts in contemporary Spanish-language pop.
The romantic essence that defines Matisse took center stage during performances of ballads including “Por Tu Bien,” “Si Fuera Fácil,” and “La Misma Luna.” Accompanied by the emotional intensity of the piano, the group also performed “Sé Que Te Vas” and “Por Última Vez,” moving many attendees to tears.

The tour takes its name from ‘El Ayer,’ the trio’s latest album. During the show, Matisse performed tracks including “Hipotéticamente,” “Conmigo Sin Ti,” and “Aplauso.” Despite being recent releases, the songs have quickly become fan favorites, with the audience singing along to every word throughout the night.
This Auditorio Nacional date was announced after the trio sold out its first concert at the venue as part of the El Ayer Tour. By selling out a second show, Matisse once again demonstrated the strong appeal of its music and its continued ability to connect with both longtime fans and new listeners alike.

Throughout the concert, Melissa, Román, and Pablo also performed “Como Lo Hice Yo,” “Ando Bien a Gusto,” and “Mis Ojos Lloran por Ti,” showcasing the versatility of their sound through regional and urban influences.
“Maldito Corazón” and “Más Que Amigos” brought the spectacular evening to a close, celebrating the group’s journey while reaffirming its status as one of the leading forces in Mexico’s pop music scene and the broader music industry.
