Miami, FL (July 28, 2026) – This Tuesday, the nominees for the 23rd edition of Premios Juventud were announced. The annual awards celebrate the best in music while recognizing the outstanding contributions of the new generation of artists. This year, the ceremony will take place in Marbella, Spain.

Among the nominees is Alejandro Sanz, Spain’s most internationally acclaimed artist, who earned nominations for “Best Euro” Song for “No Me Tires Flores” with Rels B, “Best Pop/Rhythmic Song” for “Las Guapas,” “Best Pop Song” for “Bésame” with Shakira, and “Best Pop Album” for ‘¿Y Ahora Qué+?’ The nominations come on the heels of the hugely successful Spanish leg of his ‘¿Y Ahora Qué? Tour.’

Alejandro Fernández, one of the most celebrated voices in Regional Mexican music, received nominations for “My Favorite Track” for “Me Está Doliendo” with Carín León, “Best Pop Ballad Song” for “Sin Despedida” with Carlos Rivera, and “Best Banda/Música Mexicana Song” for “El Rey” with Vicente Fernández.

International cumbia icons Los Ángeles Azules also earned recognition at the 2026 Premios Juventud, receiving nominations for “Best Cumbia Song” for “Yo Me Lo Busqué” with Thalía, as well as “The Perfect Blend” for “Carteras Chinas” alongside Elena Rose and Camilo.

Meanwhile, Elena Rose, one of this year’s most-nominated artists, was recognized in the categories “Female Artist – Premios Juventud,” “Best Pop/Urban Song” for “Cosita Linda” with Justin Quiles, “Best Pop/Rhythmic Son”g for “TUTUTU” with Alleh, and “Best Pop Album” for ‘Bendito Verano.’

For this year’s awards, Ha*Ash, the “Queens of Sold Out,” and María José, widely recognized as “Latin America’s Greatest Voice,” earned a joint nomination in the “Girl Power” category for their collaboration “Te Apuesto.” Also nominated in the category is Yuridia, the “Queen of Regional Mexican Music,” for “Brujería – En Vivo Desde la Plaza de Toros La México” with Majo Aguilar.

Matisse, one of the leading pop groups in today’s Spanish-language music scene, received a nomination for “Best Pop Ballad Song” for “Conmigo Sin Ti” alongside Cristian Castro.

Meanwhile, Lola Índigo earned nominations in the categories “Best Euro Song” for “MOJA1TA,” “Best New Generation Pop Song” for “Tus Iniciales” alongside Lia Kali, Queralt Lahoz, and Salma, and Girl Power for “Fifty Fifty” with Kenia OS.

Miami, FL (June 11, 2026) – Today marks a historic moment. The FIFA World Cup 2026 officially kicked off with a celebration filled with music, color, and profound meaning. Mexico City Stadium served as the stage where the first note of this tournament was played, launching a competition that will be shared by Canada, Mexico and the United States and united by a passion for soccer that connects millions of people around the world.

The opening ceremony at Mexico City Stadium brought together some of the most recognized Latin voices in the global music industry, and Los Ángeles Azules and Belinda delivered one of the event’s standout performances.

Los Ángeles Azules, who have been featured in the FIFA World Cup 2026’s most significant events this week, including México Vibra and the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert, once again demonstrated why they are the most renowned cumbia group in the world. Joined by international pop star Belinda, they performed “Por Ella”, the No. 1 song on Mexican radio and one of the tracks featured on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album. Their performance had not only the thousands of fans in attendance dancing throughout the stadium, but also the millions of viewers around the world who followed the event through television broadcasts and streaming platforms.

Written by Horacio Palencia, Diego Bollella, Elías Mejía, and Belinda Peregrín, “Por Ella” has emerged as one of the songs most deeply rooted in Mexican identity within this edition of the tournament. With its powerful lyrics, the track spreads joy, excitement, and celebration for the World Cup.

Los Ángeles Azules and Belinda left the crowd energized with their infectious chemistry and unmistakable cumbia rhythm. The performance became a true explosion of music and dance that resonated around the globe.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will feature 104 matches across 16 host cities, beginning today, June 11, in Mexico City and concluding on Sunday, July 19, at New York New Jersey Stadium.
